How is the price worked out?

Price is based on distance between the collection and delivery postcodes, the size and weight of the load (we use the greater of actual or volumetric weight), the service level and the time of collection. The online calculator gives an instant guide price and we confirm the final figure when you book.

Is my delivery insured?

Yes. We carry goods in transit and public liability insurance on every job. If you're sending something high value or particularly fragile, let us know when booking so we can confirm cover and pack or secure it properly.

What can you carry?

Parcels, documents, pallets, machinery and vehicle parts, retail stock, catering supplies, furniture and general freight. We can't carry hazardous goods, livestock, illegal items or anything requiring temperature-controlled transport.

How quickly can you collect?

For same-day jobs around Huddersfield and Kirklees we can usually collect within the hour. Further afield depends on where we are at the time — call us and we'll give you an honest collection window.

What are your collection times?

We operate seven days a week, typically from 7am to 8pm, with earlier starts and later finishes available for urgent or contract work. Out-of-hours and weekend collections carry a small surcharge.

Do you deliver outside West Yorkshire?

Yes — we run UK-wide. Huddersfield, Kirklees and West Yorkshire are our home patch, but we regularly drive to Manchester, Leeds, the Midlands, London and Scotland.

Do you work with businesses and other couriers?

Absolutely. We cover regular contract routes, overflow at peak times and subcontract work for warehouses and logistics companies, with agreed rates and monthly invoicing.

How do I pay?

Once your quote is confirmed you can pay securely online by card — either a 25% deposit to secure the job, with the balance due on completion, or the full amount up front. Bank transfer is also fine, and account customers are invoiced on agreed terms.

Is the deposit refundable if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

No. The 25% deposit reserves your collection slot and vehicle, so it is non-refundable if the job is cancelled. If you need to move a collection to another time or date, call us as early as you can and we'll do our best to rearrange it rather than cancel.
